Best Practices

✓ Choose the Right Format

Use DOCX for academic/business submissions, PDF for read-only sharing, TXT for quick transfers, MD for technical content.

✓ Review Before Exporting

Use the comparison view to verify changes before exporting. Ensure all content is accurate and complete.

✓ Use Descriptive Filenames

Name your exports descriptively rather than using default timestamps. "Essay_Final_Humanized.docx" is better than "humanized_2025-01-27.docx".

✗ Don't Include Metadata for Submissions

When submitting to institutions or clients, disable metadata export to avoid revealing that you used a humanization tool.

✗ Don't Share Sensitive Content via Public Links

For confidential content, use email delivery or direct download instead of share links. Always enable password protection if sharing links externally.

Troubleshooting

Export button not working?

  • Ensure you have humanized text in the output panel
  • Check that you're not exceeding plan export limits
  • Try refreshing the page and re-humanizing
  • Check browser console for errors (F12)

File formatting looks wrong?

  • Check export settings for font and margin preferences
  • Try a different format (DOCX vs PDF)
  • Ensure your viewing app supports the format properly
  • Re-export with different formatting options

Email not arriving?

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Verify your email address in Account Settings
  • Large files (>10MB) may take 2-3 minutes
  • Try downloading directly instead

Batch export fails or incomplete?

  • Check you're not exceeding plan limits (Free: 10, Pro: 100)
  • Try exporting in smaller batches
  • Ensure stable internet connection
  • Contact support if issue persists
